Bloxwich Film Society, first formed in 1964, is being relaunched at Bookmark Theatre on the evening of Saturday 11 February 2012 at 7.30pm for 8pm – and you are invited!

The original Bloxwich Film Society was launched in 1964, using 16mm film projection from the dedicated projection box in Bloxwich Library Theatre.  The revived society will use the theatre’s High Definition large-screen video projection facilities from Blu-Ray and DVD.

The first film, to be shown on the relaunch night, is the 40th anniversary restored version of ‘The Italian Job’, starring Michael Caine.

NO TICKET REQUIRED - Admission to this launch event is FREE subject to availability of seats!

Membership of Bloxwich Film Society will cost £10 in 2012, and you can sign up on the relaunch night or at the next film performance.

Future performances, which will be every other month, will be for MEMBERS ONLY and will be free of charge to members.

In 2012 films showing will be great classics of the 1960s and 1970s, in celebration of the original society and the theatre.

Please note: The Bloxwich Film Society will only go ahead if there is sufficient response – so come along and join us!
