Welcome to the all-new blog of Bloxwich Library Forum, incorporating news and information on Bookmark Theatre (Bookmark Bloxwich) and Bloxwich Film Society.
Bloxwich Library Forum is a voluntary group comprising local members of the public, staff of Bloxwich Library, Walsall Council employees and other interested parties. It was formed as part of consultation preceding the rebuilding of Bloxwich Library and Bloxwich Library Theatre in 2009-10, and now manages Bookmark Theatre in partnership with Bloxwich Library.
This is our second year of managing Bookmark Theatre. The theatre, which was opened in 1964, is park of the re-named ‘Bookmark Bloxwich’ complex, incorporating Bloxwich Library.
We pride ourselves on providing a high quality self-funding programme of live music, drama, dance and literary events at the theatre. This February also sees the re-launch of the 1964 Bloxwich Film Society as a group run by Bloxwich Library Forum.
